JWE was originally founded in 1992 by John Whitehead in New Zealand’s rural heartland, Cambridge. Right from the start JWE has specialised in the manufacture, repair and supply of high performance agricultural electronic equipment and technology for both national and international markets.
JWE has made its name by manufacturing the V3 Spreading Computer with variable rate and servicing agricultural electronic equipment - specifically but not limited to Tractor ECU's, Maize Planters and Scale Monitors from the world’s leading brands.
Today John remains at the helm leading a team at JWE’s Cambridge headquarters and manufacturing plant. JWE is proudly known for powering NZ’s fertiliser spreading industry, along with our extensive capabilities in computer design for the rural and roading sectors, along with customers from yachting and aviation.
